@hairdustry Shares a dive into volunteering with @thebeyondproject & @samvillahair with others who served at Covenant House Orlando.

The Beyond Project has partnered with Captain Lisa Barnes of the Salvation Army Southern Nevada who was in over 40 foster homes as a young girl to be a part of @brave_lasvegas a part of Braveglobal.org in Seattle and now Las Vegas where she and her husband as well as 2 children now live. Brave global is a movement to support foster girls. The Beyond Project supported the one day event by coordinating their “salon” by providing haircuts, braiding, nail painting, makeup services and even mini facials for girls 12-18 years old. The event also consisted of much needed resource booths for the girls, an IN & OUT catering truck, a bouncy house, and so much more! Beyond Grateful for Sam Villa Professional The Salvation Army USA, + The Beyond Project The Sam Villa company donated blow dryers, flat irons, & curling irons for the volunteer team of stylists to teach & empower women coming out of human trafficking so they could style their hair for upcoming job interviews & everyday styling techniques. We partnered with Sam Villa to give haircuts, styling tutorials, & makeup applications to women coming out of human trafficking at @salvationarmyus North Vegas facility. On another project we gave haircuts & makeup applications to LGBTQIA+ young adults & veterans facing homelessness. Our gratitude goes out to all the incredible volunteers who made this event possible! A special thank you to our team from Seattle who flew in to support @pretty_prana @_johnny_orouke_ @julesroemen !
